Welcome to EdicorAI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EdicorAI mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EdicorAI, you agree to:

• These Terms of Service
• Our Privacy Policy (https://www.edicorai.com/privacy)
• Apple's or Google's terms (depending on your platform)

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and EdicorAI ("we," "us," "our").

2. Eligibility

To use EdicorAI, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable law
• Comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content

Parental Consent: Users under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) must have parental/guardian consent to use the App.

3. License to Use the App

3.1 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on devices you own or control
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Generate images using our AI templates

3.2 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the App
• Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission
• Rent, lease, loan, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the App to violate any laws or regulations
• Upload illegal, offensive, or infringing content
• Interfere with other users' use of the App

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Tiers

4.2 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We do NOT process payments directly
• Prices are in USD and may vary by region
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• Applicable taxes may apply based on your location

4.3 Subscription Billing

• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled
• You'll be charged at the start of each billing period
• Credits refresh on your renewal date
• Unused credits do NOT roll over to the next month
• Credits expire at the end of your billing period

4.4 Free Trial

We do NOT offer free trials at this time.

• Subscriptions begin immediately upon purchase
• No grace period or trial period

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime through:

• iOS: App Store → Subscriptions → EdicorAI → Cancel
• Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → EdicorAI → Cancel

When you cancel:

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You'll retain access until the period ends
• Unused credits are forfeited upon cancellation
• No refunds for partial months

4.6 Refunds

• Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies
• Generally, refunds are only available:
  • Within 48 hours of purchase
  • If no credits have been used
  • For technical issues preventing app use
• Contact Apple or Google support for refund requests
• We cannot process refunds directly

4.7 Credits System

• 1 credit = 1 photo generation
• Credits are non-transferable
• Credits cannot be exchanged for cash
• Unused credits expire with your subscription period
• Free users can purchase credits individually (feature coming soon)

5. User Content

5.1 Your Photos

You retain all ownership rights to photos you upload to EdicorAI.

By uploading photos, you grant us:

• A limited, temporary license to process your photos through AI services
• Permission to transmit photos to third-party AI providers for processing
• Right to use photos for technical troubleshooting (only with your explicit permission)

We do NOT:

• Claim ownership of your photos
• Use your photos for marketing without permission
• Store your photos permanently on our servers
• Share your photos with third parties (except AI processors)

5.2 Generated Images

Images generated by the App are considered derivative works:

• You own the generated images
• You may use generated images for personal or commercial purposes
• You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
• We are NOT liable for how you use generated images

5.3 Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload or generate:

• Illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
• Content violating intellectual property rights
• Private information of others without consent
• Deepfakes intended to deceive or harm
• Content depicting violence, hate speech, or harassment
• Spam, malware, or malicious code
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content (in violation of platform policies)

We reserve the right to:

• Remove prohibited content
• Suspend or terminate accounts violating this section
• Report illegal content to authorities
• Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

EdicorAI and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors:

• App code, design, and functionality
• AI templates and algorithms
• Trademarks, logos, and branding
• Documentation and help materials

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

7. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand:

• What data we collect
• How we use your data
• Your privacy rights
• How to delete your account

By using EdicorAI, you consent to data collection as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

8.2 AI-Generated Content

We do NOT guarantee:

• Quality of AI-generated images
• Specific results from any template
• That generated images will meet your expectations
• Availability of specific templates (we may add/remove templates anytime)

8.3 Third-Party Services

We are NOT responsible for:

• Apple App Store or Google Play Store downtime
• Third-party AI service failures
• Internet connectivity issues
• Device compatibility problems

9. Limitation of Liability

Exceptions: Some jurisdictions don't allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain damages. These limitations may not apply to you.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by:

• Deleting the App from your device
• Canceling your subscription (see Section 4.5)
• Requesting account deletion (email edicortech@gmail.com)

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Upload prohibited content
• Attempt to hack or abuse the App
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Upon termination:

• Your subscription will be canceled (no refund for current period)
• Unused credits will be forfeited
• You must delete the App from your devices
• We may delete your account data (per our Privacy Policy)

11. Platform-Specific Terms

11.1 Apple App Store Users

If you downloaded from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and EdicorAI, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide support (contact us instead)
• Apple is not responsible for the App or content
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary and may enforce these Terms
• You must comply with Apple's Usage Rules in the App Store Terms

11.2 Google Play Users

If you downloaded from Google Play:

• These Terms are between you and EdicorAI, not Google
• Google has no obligation to provide support (contact us instead)
• Google is not responsible for the App or content
• You must comply with Google Play's Terms of Service
